Dr Patrick Jolly Ngono Ema is the holder of a BSc degree in Biochemistry. He is also trained as a Doctor in Veterinary Medicine , with a Master Degree in Animal Production, a Ph.D in Genetic Amelioration and Production Systems. He is a Senior Lecturer with 14 years’ experience teaching Animal Genetic Amelioration and Genetics. He is in charge of the Department of Biostatistics and Genetics at the School of Veterinary Medicine and Science of The Ngaoundere University (Cameroon). He is supervising students from the DVM level and Master degree. Dr Patrick Jolly Ngono Ema has demonstrated a special interest in bovine population genetics, mainly focus on trypanotolerant and trypanosusceptible breeds. His multidisciplinary approach along with his high degree of sociability allows him, to be the Thematic lead for the Global Health Case Competition and the Demo Sites activities. (AFROHUN Cameroon).
