Dr Félicité Djuikwo Teukeng

Thematic Lead

I’m a scientist, with a Master Degree in Animal and Physiological Biology, a PhD and HDR in Molecular Microbiology, Senior Lecturer at Université des Montagnes (Banganté- Cameroon), with 15 years’ experience teaching Biology, Microbiology and Genetic also supervising students from BSC to PhD. My research topics mainly focused on host-pathogen relationship, Molecular Parasitology, zoonotic diseases. I’m also expert on One Health concept and antimicrobial resistance (AMR). This multidisciplinary approach allows me to be the activity lead on Antimicrobial Resistance in One Health Central and Eastern Africa (OHCEA), rebranding to Africa One Health University Network (AFROHUN) USAID Project for 4 years. Following this, I actively contribute to the redaction of «In‐service training manual on antimicrobial resistance (AMR) stewardship for human, animal and environmental health, professionals in Africa », and participated on designing a certificate course on antimicrobial resistance. I’m currently, Activity Lead, for American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) -Cameroon, Project financed by USAID, and Thematic lead for Curriculum, course strengthening, program development and delivery (OHCEA; AFROHUN).
